Our clients loved their family home, but the time had come for a revamp of the home's exterior on the Chesapeake Bay. The antiqued windows and doors were replaced with new energy-efficient ones. The family also wanted the multi-level deck that runs along the entire length of the home replaced with a Trex decking to ensure long-lasting durability.
Our clients loved their family home, but the time had come for a revamp of the staircase leading down to their private beach on the Chesapeake Bay. The family also wanted the multi-level deck that runs along the entire length of the home replaced with a Trex decking, we did the staircase in the same material to create a cohesive look from the water up to the home.
Our client was looking for a way to make the laundry room in her new home a bit more aesthetically pleasing. We took down the existing cabinets and spaced them apart on either side of the wall. Then we installed two wooden shelves in between the two cabinets. After getting everything rehung, we painted the shelves to match the cabinets. She cant wait to utilize the new space and make use of the extra storage created. Have you thought of sprucing up your laundry space?
The previous ramp at our client’s home was far too steep for her to safely utilize on her own. Her and her family brought us in to create a new ramp that was less steep and safe for her to access on her own. After coming up with a design we decided to expand the sidewalk leading up to the ramp. Now that the new ADA approved ramp is installed, she has regained some of her independence and couldn’t be happier.
What a difference. Our Customer Sharon had water leaking in from her deck to her house in Annapolis MD. Her house is a rancher on a slab and the deck was tilted in the wrong direction. It was leaning towards the house. She drilled holes in the decking surface to drain the water away so it would stop leaking into her house and messing up the flooring and not to mention the order from the water.
OUR TEAM MEMBERS
DANIEL LEVY AND DAVID ALAND DID A GREAT JOB
We removed all the bad treated decking and hand railing. We put rubber flashing between the deck band board and the house. We reattached the deck to the house per our county building code. We straighten up the floor joist ( they were sagging, Everything sags with age. ) We underpinned the supporting deck post. The supporting deck post were rotted under the ground surface. We cut them above the surface and remove the part of the post under the ground. We fill the hole with concrete from the original footing up to the bottom of the post. The existing post is now above ground and sealed so it won't rot and last several more years.
We installed TREX DECKING and WHITE VINYL HAND RAILING FROM RDI.
We trimmed the decks edging with WHITE PVC TRIM BOARDS FROM AZECK.
This job started during the second phase of the COVID pandemic and we had trouble getting materials to complete the job.
Sharon was great she was patient with us and understood the situation.
