Rotten Deck Post Replacement

Challenge
Our client's utilized their deck any chance they got but noticed the posts holding the deck up at ground level were beginning to rot. The posts were set in the ground and that caused them to slowly rot over time which put the integrity of the deck at risk.
Solution
To prolong the life of the new deck posts we dug the rotten posts up and filled the holes in. We were then able to create concrete footings for each of the 4 posts. The deck posts are now above grade level and out of any water that could potentially pool on the patio below the deck.
